How
To Use Tools for Teaching:
A Plan for Professional Development
The Study Group Resource Guide
The Study
Group Activity Guide and The
Video Toolbox parallel Tools
for Teaching. The Video Toolbox contains a video
segment for each of the twelve Study Group meetings outlined
in the Study Group Activity Guide. In addition, the Coaching
Tape contained in The Video Toolbox models each of the
practice exercises described in the Study Group Activity
Guide. The following table from the Video Toolbox Handbook
shows the integration of resources to maximize the ease
and effectiveness of your staff training.
Study Group meetings using only the Study
Group Activity Guide last approximately 45 minutes
each. When used in conjunction with the Video
Toolbox, meetings will last approximately 75 minutes
each.
