The Play:
This game is played like "Duck, Duck, Goose."
The students all sit in a big circle. The teacher picks
a student and gives them a speling word. That student
goes around the circle, tapping the other students heads
while spelling out the word. When the student spells the
entire word, this means "goose" and the tapped
student must chase the other student around the circle
and sit back in his spot. If tagged, the "goose"
student must sit in the center for one turn.
Scoring:
No scoring
Comments or Variations:
This can also be "Phonemic Awareness Goose"
if the students says sounds instead of letters.
